What is CommunityRewards?

A seamless user-friendly cardlinked program that enables members to purchase from participating brands who are committed to growing their businesses AND supporting their Local Community. Members earn points that can be exchanged for cash or directed towards meaningful local community causes. The Program empowers participants to unite with complimentary businesses and, in so-doing, drive outcomes for all stakeholders; members, businesses and community.

How does CommunityRewards Work?

Each time a member purchases goods and/or services from participating businesses, they automatically earn cashback on every dollar that they spend. (The amount of cashback depends on the value of the incentive or rebate that participating enterprises are willing to offer. To receive cashback, the member registers with CommunityRewards and nominates the percentage that they wish to support from the thousands of participating causes.

At the end of each month, the cashback earned by Members are transferred to their E Wallet and their specified percentage automatically remitted to their selected cause. CommunityRewards are issued as Cashback and cannot expire nor can they be used for any cause other than to the selected cause with a tax-deductible receipt issued on behalf of those causes that have deductible gift recipient status (DGR status).

We act as a conduit administering fundraising on behalf of some 3,000 participating Community Organisations/Charities with a collective Member base exceeding 3 million people. Points4Purpose, its associates and directors have extensive experience in both the loyalty and reward industry as well as the crowdfunding for charity sector.

We work with corporates to:

  • Retain and grow relationships with valued Customers and Employees
  • Enable loyalty recipients to elect a cause of their choice to receive their loyalty benefit
  • Facilitate and enhance their corporate social responsibility program

For Causes

We work with participating Causes to:

  • Reinforce their Mission
  • Retain & grow their relationships with valued Donors
  • Reactivate dormant donors who may be identified as ‘inactive’
  • Recruit new donors to provide a fresh stream of fundraising

With over 500 participating businesses and over 2,000 worthy causes now on board, CommunityRewards is set to be piloted in Q3 2023 and rolled out nationally in Q4 of this year.

Stan Zets, Finance Director

Stan is a Chartered Accountant and former CEO of an international professional advisory firm. He served as a director of numerous companies in Australia, the UK, USA and others. He brings a wealth of finance and governance skills, and deep knowledge of the loyalty and rewards sector having advised Qantas Loyalty on their Business Awards Platform.

Kaushik, a Web/IT solutions expert who specialises in leading digital technology teams to achieve successful product delivery, oversaw development of the company’s platforms and ongoing management of solutions. He leads technical engagement with external dev teams to ensure effective merchant deployment of points4purpose as the foundation for customer success.
